5 Basic Steps to a GREAT Web Page

Follow these instructions and you can have a professional looking Web page of your own in a matter of minutes. Remember, it's totally free to practice and try (no strings) and you can change your page as often as you want to. You can experiment with different templates and graphics combinatons until you achieve the look you want.

1) Write your Text Content FIRST

Compose a few paragraphs in you favorite word processor. Pay attention to detail and be sure to do a spell-check.

You should have one comprehensive paragraph describing your company. We suggest you include a brief mission statement, background, and your area of expertise.
Then, write one descriptive paragraph for each product or service you wish to include. You may have up to 5 different products (with images) on your instant web page!

2) Collect your Product Images

On the web, a GOOD picture is worth 10,000 words! You should have a few scanned product images in GIF of JPG format prepared and stored on your computer. 3) Build your Web Page

With the Crafters Home Network Instant Web Page Wizard you DO NOT have be a programmer. It only takes a little desire. Simply follow our instructions and complete the fields in our online form. Graphics is the trickiest part of web design but we've tried to make it as painless a we can. With the wizard, you don't have to worry about configurations for buttons, bullets, bars, icons, and backgrounds etc., we set them up for you based on your choices. Just choose your preferences from our library and viola! Plus, you can change your selections any time you want to.

We have a number of templates that you can customize easily by selecting different backgrounds and text/table color combinations. You can even upload your own custom background if you wish. The possibilities are limitless!

To transfer your product images, the Wizard includes an image upload utility that makes it easy to transfer your own product images from your machine to our web server. (Provided they are in the correct format.) You upload them from right your browser, and your images positioned according to the template you select.

4) Publishing Your Page.

The moment you pay for your page it becomes publicly accessible to anyone in the world with Internet connectivity. (Until you pay for it, you are the only one who can see it.) You can pay for your page three ways: Pay online with your credit card, charge it to your telephone bill (USA only), or mail us a check or money order.

5) Promote Your New Web Page.

Start by setting up a new booth or modifying your existing booth in our own International Craft Fair which links to your new web page.
