Web Browsers and Settings Tell a Crafter!


If you are reading this page, you may be frustrated about not being able to dive right into our web site. We apologize for that. However, there are good reasons for the recent changes to this site...and you can still enjoy using it.

Our new web site makes extensive use of Dynamic HTML/HTML 4 and frames in some areas. As a result, you need an HTML 4-capable browser from Microsoft Internet Explorer (MSIE) 4.x, MSIE 5.0, or Netscape Navigator 4.x. You can download a version of either browser free of charge by clicking on either link right now!

Also please note the following:

  1. Javascript must be turned on in your browser or you won't be able to navigate through the site satisfactorily. Some features require Java, such as our International Craft Fair and some navigation elements.
  2. Finally, your display resolution should be set to at least 800 by 600 pixels and support a minimum of 32K colors (16 bit).
  3. In the case of Netscape Navigator, we recommend using version 4.07 or higher since earlier versions are unstable in their implementation of HTML 4.
  4. Internet Explorer users need to make sure that the security settings are set to Medium or lower, otherwise some special features will not work.
